Formica inspires during Zow 2008

This year, Formica® will present itself once again during ZOW (Zuliefermesse Ost-Westfalen), from 25 to 28 February 2008 in Bad Salzuflen.
Like in previous years, Formica® welcomes visitors with a striking booth. Besides, Formica® will introduce a completely new surface structure.

The promising architects duo Michael König and Tobias Unterberg combined several Formica® products into a museum like floor plan: “The development of a three-dimensional spatial presentation of the manifold Formica® product range of colours and surfaces was a very exciting and interesting task.”
With their colours as a basis, the exhibits are arranged into five appealing, natural themes: ‘Dawn’, ‘Green leaves’, ‘Deep Ocean’, ‘The Mountain’ and ‘By the fireside’. Within every theme, several surfaces can be explored. In this way, a group of colours and structures arises, that is inviting to walk trough, look at and touch.
During ZOW, Formica® also gives visitors the opportunity to meet with a new finish. Sculpted: a horizontal, uneven waving pattern, inspired by the structure of curved wood. Sculpted finish answers perfectly to the current trend to sculpted, scraped and wire-brushed surfaces. Sculpted is especially suitable for vertical applications, like wall panelling and general furniture applications. This new product will be offered in 12 natural and contemporary colours.

Formica inspiriert auf der ZOW 2008
Wie schon in den vergangenen Jahren wird sich Formica auch dieses Jahr auf der ZOW (25. bis 28. Februar in Bad Salzuflen) mit einem auffallend schön gestalteten Stand präsentieren. Neben vielen bewährten Produkten zeigt Formica diesmal auch eine ganz neue Oberfläche.
Die aufsteigenden Architekten Michael König und Tobias Unterberg sind verantwortlich für die Gestaltung des diesjährigen Messestandes: „Die Entwicklung einer räumlich erlebbaren dreidimensionalen Präsentation des vielfältigen Formica Angebots an Farben und Oberflächen war eine sehr spannende und interessante Aufgabe.“
Die verschiedenen Formica Produkte werden in fünf ansprechende Teilbereiche untergegliedert. So kann der Besucher in einem inspirativen Rundgang Formica erleben!
Während der ZOW präsentiert Formica die brandneue Oberfläche Sculpted: ein waagerecht unebenes und wellig geformtes Design, welches von Holzstrukturen inspiriert ist. Der neue Trend zu kratzigen und gebürsteten Oberflächen gab den Anstoß zur neuen Sculpted Oberfläche. Geeignet für vertikale Anwendungen wie z.B. Wandpaneele oder Möbelbau wird Sculpted in 12 aufregend natürlich wirkenden Farben angeboten.
